Today was difficult... we were late heading north, then got stuck for 2.5 hours in an awful backup waiting to cross back into the US. Then once in San Ysidro, the rear van hatch broke... wouldn't latch, and the handle came off, and at 5pm on a Saturday there was no mechanic. So I tied it down from inside the van, with some rope I had, and we drove onward... 6 hrs late. But tasted wine at a stop with James and David (legal age in Mexico), and saw a sweetie at dinner with kids, this evening.
