Send dawnd to a Self-Love Workshop :)

I'm writing this (without prior consultation with Dawn, but her OK) from myself and Michael Huff. We are trying to raise funds to send Dawn to a HAI workshop on "Loving Yourself," which Michael and I think would be a really great growth opportunity for Dawn after the past couple of years of household, career, and relationship changes. Dawn currently has few personal resources and they are barely able to cover groceries and housing costs. Many Bay Area locals have been to Poly Pool Parties and East Bay Poly events that Dawn (with others) have organized. More than just hosting community events, though (as much work as that is), Some of you reading have been personally touched by her kindness and clarity, her insight and wisdom, and her resilience and sharp wit. Time after time over the past decade, Dawn has been an activist and leader and given of herself and from her family to the local poly community. Now she can't even afford a weekend HAI workshop for herself. Michael and I have each contributed to set up a Dawn-fund with the HAI Office, but we're still short.

If she's touched your life or helped you or brightened your day at some point, and if your own circumstances permit, will you chip in a bit? Even $5 or $10 would help get Dawn to a place where she can recharge and stretch, in order to then be able to reach out again herself to the poly community.

(a) Call the HAI Office at (707) 981-7886, and tell them it is for Dawn Davidson,

(b) If you've done a HAI workshop yourself, you can use the HAI online payment link (https://hai.org/global/norcal-pay.php) Under "Event Information", select "February 17th Level 2" and put "For Dawn Davidson" in the Comments for Office box.

(c) Paypal (I will collect donations and forward them to the HAI office): use
https://www.paypal.com/cgi-bin/webscr?cmd=_s-xclick&hosted_button_id=9VZFYQSNYEESA

Thanks... from Michael Huff and myself. :)
