(Hopefully) false-correlations...

In June 2008 I visited JSC and cyan_blue joined me there, we then went down to Galveston. Four months later, most of the area we visited on the south end of that island was wiped out by Hurricane Ike.

In Sept 2010 I went to Japan with dawnd and we rode by bullet train past the Fukushima power plant and stopped for breakfast in Aomori, which were then severely damaged by the tsunami in March 2011.

Just over a week ago, I went to Chincoteague Island with geekchick... it is now under water due to Hurricane Sandy's surge. http://www.washingtonpost.com/blogs/liveblog/files/2012/10/3.jpg is where Cathy and I had dinner on the 20th.

Maybe coastal regions should be forewarned, when I visit with a sweetie...
