Last call, for a couple of months...

In two weeks I will be departing for the holidays, in the Atlanta area and in St. Petersburg, FL. I will return home for about 24 hours (alone) on 12/28 before then departing the next day for six weeks in Antarctica, flying via Sydney and Christchurch NZ to McMurdo Station. I will likely spend a few days in mid-February in NZ and Australia before returning home on 20 February.

This is a heads-up, both to anyone in AU/NZ who might want to meet up, and to my local Bay Area friends (before I leave town)...
